September 10th 10am- 4pm is our annual home school day. Last year we had over 200 people attend. This year the theme will be about the Cherokee Native American removal. please register today! The registration price before September 4th is $12.00. After September 4th the price will be $15.00 and $20.00 not the day of the event. Children under 6 are free.
Smithsonian Magazine Museum day Live! On September, 26 2015 Bulloch Hall, Barrington Hall, and the Smith Plantation will be offering free entry for anyone with a Museum Day live ticket and each ticket is good for 2 people. All three locations will be open for tours and will have knowledgeable guides inside the properties to answer questions. The Workes of Our Hands Exhibit at Bulloch Hall This exhibit will run from September 18-26th 10a.m-4 p.m and Sunday 1p.m - 4p.m The Magnolia Sampler Guild presents an amazing exhibit of hand work at Bulloch Hall Tickets will be $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, $6.00 for children
There is also a luncheon for this exhibit on September 17th where Sheryl DeJong, an independent researcher, will be discussing her research of Samplers of the Smithsonian.
