Night at the Museum, a Family Night where history comes alive at Bulloch Hall. Tour the house by candlelight and meet President “Teddy” Roosevelt and his mother Mittie. Hear stories from Major James Stephens Bulloch, who built the home in 1839 and his wife Martha. Other surprise guests include neighbors John and Jane Dunwody (Major Bulloch’s sister) and the Reverend John Bulloch Dunwody, who officiated the wedding of Mittie and Thee in 1853. Tours of the house are every 20 minutes beginning at 6:30 p.m. Your time and reservation for the tour MUST be reserved in advance by calling 770 992-1731 ext. 2 On the grounds you can participate in pumpkin rolling races, ring toss and miniature golf. At the pavilion, enjoy hot dogs, chips, a drink, and roasted marshmallows by the fireplace while listening to old Halloween songs and storytelling.
