Themed Tours for Adults

 

Learn more about the history of the house, the family and life in the 19th century South when you take a specialty themed tour at Bulloch Hall. Themed Tours for Adults are more popular than ever at Bulloch Hall!  Grab your friends and make a day of it in Historic Roswell, Georgia.  Themed tours being offered include such topics as:

  • Through the Eyes of a Slave
  • The Bulloch Brothers
  • Confederate Navy
  • A Women's Day
  • Daily Life in the Antebellum Era

Roswell Roots Festival, February 2008

 A City-Wide festival of Black History & Culture - numerous events taking place during the month of February that celebrate Roswell's African American culture and heritage.

The 26th Great American Cover-Up Quilt Show, March 8 - 16, 2008

"Warm Traditions and Cool New Views", sponsored by the Bulloch Hall Quilt Guild

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Saturday; 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday

$8 for Adults, $6 for Children 6-12. Tours are self-guided during the show.

Once again, the Bulloch Hall Quilt Guild pulls out all of the stops to put on a fantastic Quilt Show at Bulloch Hall.  This is a perfect outing for fabric lovers to explore quilts ranging from antique to contemporary.  Over 200 of them will fill this lovely historic house!  As in years past, the Guild will have daily demonstrations showing the latest quilting techniques.  Check back to see this year's raffle quilt. 

The Roswell Magnolia Storytelling Festival, June 27 & 28, 2008

Talented storytellers, interpreters, and musicians from Georgia and throughout the Southeast gather in Roswell, to share stories that have been passed down from generation to generation.
Tall tales, short stories, real life incidents and stories of imagination and fantasy.

Seating is provided under large tents with space to spread picnics (or food on site), enjoy traditional music, attend workshops, and participate in open microphone time.

Something for everyone.
